Sarah Barnard was born and raised on the Eastside and graduated from Mercer Island High School. Her interest in real estate began in the late 1990’s when she began assisting for a high profile team at Bellevue, Coldwell Banker Bain. Sarah pursued other interests for several years, such as managing a high end consignment store on Old Main Street in Bellevue, and finished her Associates of Arts Degree at Lake WA Technical. In 2003, she fulfilled a lifelong dream of moving to the Hawaiian Islands, where she re-entered the real estate world. Sarah became a Real Estate Broker during her first year in Hawaii, holding a position with the well-known Honolulu brokerage Captain Cook and Associates. There, she assisted 7 professionally diverse Brokers as a Sales and Escrow Coordinator, until Seattle called again 4 years later. With her years of experience in real estate transactions and client relations, we are proud to call her an Assistant Broker to Vijya Patel at Madison Avenue Realty, LLC. Sarah holds a Washington State Broker’s License.

On a personal note, because of her love for all animals, Sarah has been an avid volunteer for Pasado’s Safe Haven in Sultan, WA. She participates in numerous charity events throughout the year because of her strong belief in giving back to the community. You can also catch her on the slopes snowboarding during the winter season and river rafting in the summer.
