Scott is selling his Vuecrest home!

Saturday, June 28th, 2008

You know the old saying, his, hers, and OURS! We are ideally looking forward to OUR house but want to get Scott’s house sold first. Now, I’ll be getting to do what most of my clients are doing all of the time – moving!!

For $1,299,000, the fully finished day-lite rambler sits on a very private, beautifully landscaped lot complete with a gazebo and in-ground pool! The house is perfect for the person looking to down size to a more ranch style living, or the family with kids desiring to take advantage of some of the top schools in the area. Remodel it to make it a ‘dream’ house or keep it as is for simple living. Walk (seriously!) to Bellevue Square/Lincoln Center, beaches, parks, public schools, Overlake Golf & Country Club, and jump right onto the last 520 exit heading west. Vuecrest has been around since the 1940s and has established itself as a prime Eastside neighborhood offering convenience and character.

We’ve been busy helping our clients facilitate deals that make everyone happy! Let us know if you have questions on these or any other properties or if we can be of service.

One of our listings this month included a lovely, sunny English Cove townhome in Redmond. It is just a few minutes to Redmond Town Center, Microsoft, Marymoor Park, Whole Foods and 520 and 405 access. This property is quiet with lush surroundings and a private setting. At almost 1,700 sq.ft., the home offers big value for your dollars. Contemporary flair, a great floor plan with a deep garage makes this even more attractive! Seattle Greendrinks 5th year Celebration!

Thursday, June 12th, 2008

This past Tuesday evening, I attended a very cool event for Seattle Greendrinks 5 year celebration at Herban Feast and Alchemy Goods in the Sodo district. The 1thing.com (commit to one thing that you can do to improve the world) people were there, as well as the president of NewEarth, a renewable energy company utilizing ECO clean coal fuel options and almost 800 other people. Theo Chocolates, Full Circle Farms, Sierra Nevada, Kestrel Winery were a few of the sponsors. With the largest member base in the country, Greendrinks offers an awesome resource for learning and getting involved with sustainable businesses and avenues that are happening every day!

Water 1st Carry 5 Fun Walk

Wednesday, June 4th, 2008

We had so much fun participating in Water 1st’s Carry 5 walk at Seward Park this past Saturday. The goal was to raise funds for and raise awareness of the lack of drinking water in many parts of the globe. Teams of people carried 5 gallons of water (approx 40 lbs) for 5 km which is what many people around the globe have to do daily for drinking water. A couple of hundred people participated and raised approx. $50,000. This event was attended by grandparents, grandkids and everyone in between:)
